If you live near Dulles airport and are looking to sell your home or even purchase one there is a new law in town, that you will want to be familiar with.
On March 1, 2024 the House of Representatives passed a bill that will prohibit districts from requiring disclosures in real estate listings. If the bill is ratified, homes within the county’s Airport Impact Overlay District of Dulles Airport will not have to disclose that they fall within the zone.
If this bill passes it can have a major impact on the entire commonwealth region. Everything from hundreds of millions of FFA grant money loss to upset new homeowners.
