Lego Dulles Replica On Display at IAD

by | Feb 7, 2024

Lego Master Builder, Richard Paules, took his first flight at age 12 from Dulles Airport and dreamed of recreating it with Lego blocks.  He has finally completed this task which took him nine months and 50,000 blocks.

His biggest challenge was the iconic roof which he used three canopy pieces for.  If that didn’t work, he wouldn’t have been able to complete the project.

The Lego replica will be on display at Dulles Airport for travelers to see.  Paules has plans to create a replica of Washington Raegan Airport as well as a model map of D.C. in the future.
