Students across DC at Title I schools were asked to submit artwork that went with the theme, “Let’s Spring Together” for a chance to paint a pair of Nike Air Force One’s. Forty students were selected to design and paint a pair of sneakers in their size, which were donated by Downtown Locker Room (DTLR).
The first annual “Blossom Kicks for Kids” program will display the students’ kicks on Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-4pm at V Street Studio in Harrison Recreation Center through March 24th. At that time the sneakers will be returned to their artists
