Bowie State Students Pack Meals

by | Feb 7, 2024

Bowie State students volunteered their time during winter break to help pack more than 20,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger. The meals will go to those who are fighting hunger in schools, orphanages and hospitals.

Each meal includes a vitamin packet, dehydrated vegetables, soy, and rice.

Amani Jennings, Dean of Students at Bowie State, says the school sees a lot of value in setting up this opportunity for the students and helping others is great for mental health.
